Grorin Darkmane

Appearance

Grorin Darkmane is a male Lion Folk from the far eastern plains — a lion who walks upright like a man. His body is covered in the golden fur of a plains lion, but his mane is jet black, surrounding his face and hanging like a beard beneath his jaw.

He wears blue leather armor when out and about and carries a very large polearm across his shoulders with the easy familiarity of someone who has used it.

Personality

Grorin is a sarcastic yet demanding beast who allows a great deal of his pirate reputation to show through his governing persona. He took the role overseeing White Bay passage laws and the charting of the Bay's hidden secrets eagerly — he sees the White Bay as an ever-changing challenge, and charting its fog and hidden dangers is exactly the kind of problem that interests him.

Rumors say that many of the merchants coming and going through the Bay are old pirate contacts of his, and that he is often seen on the docks personally meeting them. No one has confronted him about it directly. Or if they have, they haven't talked about it afterward.

Many suggest the council seat was offered to him simply to get him to stop raiding ships in the foggy Bay. No one has ever admitted it.
