Council — Housing & Construction

Teggor Stoutwood

Dwarf (Male)

Teggor Stoutwood

Appearance

Average height for a dwarf, nearing five feet tall, and broad through the shoulders and chest — the kind of build that comes from a lifetime of physical labor, not from trying to look like it. His beard is a deep rust red and hangs to his belt. His hair matches it, worn long and loose.

He doesn't dress like a councilman. Work pants, a well-made blue overcoat buttoned over a black shirt, heavy boots that have seen real use. He carries no weapons and wears no armor — he has never pretended to be a fighting man, and he doesn't start now.

Personality

Teggor is the kind of man who shows up before he's asked and stays after everyone else has gone home. He doesn't talk much about what he does — he just does it. After the great fire that made him something of a local legend, he was nominated for the Housing and Construction seat almost by acclamation. He accepted modestly, noting that no one else had run, and has treated the position the same way he treats a job site: show up, figure out what needs doing, and get it done.

He is not comfortable in the council chamber and doesn't pretend to be. Politics confuse him in a way that construction never has. He knows what a solid wall looks like. He is still learning what a solid agreement looks like.
