Council — Food & Markets

Gendrie Sparrowfall

Fawn (Female)

Gendrie Sparrowfall

Appearance

Gendrie stands around four and a half feet tall with the natural grace of someone who has never once questioned whether she belongs in a room. Her dress is long and fitted, falling nearly to the ankle, deep green with gold vine patterns woven through the fabric. Her horns — natural and proud — are wrapped with fine golden wire. Her brown hair is pulled back into a single braid that falls the length of her back.

Her eyes are a gentle, steady green that catches light the way still water does — calm, present, and watching. She carries her staff of office when in the city: a tall carved wood piece topped with a pale green orb that glows softly, fixed in place by golden vines wound around the head of the staff.

Unlike many of the fawn who move through Beacon quietly and carefully, Gendrie holds herself as though her presence is a given. It is the most intentional thing about her.

Personality

Gendrie takes her position seriously in a way that the other council members take their positions seriously about themselves. She believes the Food & Markets seat is the most critical on the council — that without it, nothing else functions. She does not say this aloud. She does not need to. It comes through in how she speaks about her work, how she prepares for sessions, and how quickly she loses interest in discussions that she does not consider relevant to the real needs of the city.

She does not communicate with the other council members more than is required. She finds the other races — broadly, with some exceptions she does not name — to be more violent and more deceitful than she is willing to account for in her day-to-day work. She handles her seat alone. She prefers it that way. She is not aware of how much this costs her.
