Council — Creatures of the Realm

Hadvyr Feck

Half-Elf (Male)

Hadvyr Feck

Appearance

Hadvyr is lean and weathered in the way of someone who spends most of his time outside and doesn't think about it. Long brown hair, blue eyes, and the kind of stillness in his face that comes from years of watching things without being seen. He wears his leather armor and a dark green cloak — not for ceremony, but because he was probably just in the field and this is what he was wearing.

His hunting bow is intricately carved, an elf-made piece that gets a closer look from anyone who knows what to look for. His elven dagger sits on his hip. Rather than carrying a staff of office, Hadvyr had his orb fixed to the top of the bow — a clear orb, held in the open mouth of a carved bear's head at the weapon's tip. It is a practical decision that tells you everything about him.

Personality

Hadvyr came to the council the same way he comes to everything — because he had a job to do and this was the most effective way to do it. He had been walking into Beacon for years with reports about creature movements, predator encroachment, herd shifts, things going wrong in the wilds before they became problems in the territory. Eventually they offered him a seat. He took it so his findings would carry weight, not for the pay or the recognition.

He doesn't spend much time in the chamber when he doesn't have to. He keeps communication with Grorin Darkmane — they share relevant information about what's moving near the bay and the coastline — and they've settled into a comfortable working distance from each other. They know enough to trust the other's judgment and not so much that it gets complicated. Both of them seem to prefer it that way.
