Central Bowl Street

Read to Players

Central Bowl Street runs straight through the heart of Beacon — from the Dock Yard all the way to Braver's Temple at the city's center, where it forms a circle around the temple grounds and branches in three directions: north, south, and east toward Eastern Main Street. Unlike South Main Street, Central Bowl Street is divided by a wide median of wildflowers — blues, golds, and purples growing in an untended but pleasing tangle down the center of the road. Decorative iron benches are placed here and there along the median, tucked into the flowers, the kind of place someone actually sits when the day allows for it. The street runs two lanes in either direction around the median, wide enough for carts and comfortable for foot traffic. On both sides, a mix of homes and businesses lines the walk, all fronted by sidewalks and lit by hanging lantern posts that arch over the street at regular intervals. At the far end of the road, rising above the rooftops and clearly visible from most points along the street, stands Braver's Temple. Atop it, Braver's statue faces outward — and from this distance, the blue fire blazing in its eyes is unmistakable.

DM Notes

Central Bowl Street is a through-road — people use it with purpose. It is not as commercially dense as South Main Street but it is well-traveled, connecting the docks to the temple district. Residents of the surrounding homes walk it daily. The median benches are occasionally occupied by off-duty workers, elderly locals, or anyone with a moment to spare. The street is safe and well-lit. It is not an area where trouble typically starts — though it may be where trouble passes through.
