The Fallen Elder
Tree Top

Read to Players
The trunk is wide enough that you have little trouble climbing its leaning slope. The bark is rough enough to find purchase without much effort. Up and up you climb, pushing through branches that bent and snapped as the giant fell, and before too long you find the open air — the sky no longer blocked by the canopy of the forest.
Looking out from your higher vantage point, you can see north, east, and south. West is blocked largely by the remaining greenery on the giant trunk.
Looking north, you can see Pine Loft and the South Oceanview Run as it snakes along the cliff that drops off to the ocean below. Looking east, you see rolling fields of green grass over hills, dotted with bushes, shrubs, and small trees. In the very far distance — so far you can barely make it out — you can see where the grass starts to give way to mostly flat, rocky ground, with patches of grass still growing here and there.
Looking south, you see a sea of green as the tops of the pines stretch out as far as you can see.
